Yes, they have a free day. Free Tuesday occurs on the third Tuesday of every month. On the first day of the month at 10 am, they release a set number of Free Tuesday tickets. Free admission is for daytime hours only.
Advance tickets are required, are not available at the door, and must be reserved in advance on their website.

If you’re visiting with children or simply young at heart, don’t miss the Enchanted Railroad, a miniature train that winds its way through a charming landscape, offering delightful views of the gardens. It’s called the “Little Giant” It runs from 9:30Am to 4:PM Riders on the Enchanted Railroad must be at least 30 inches tall and able to sit on their own. The Tickets are $5 each, it may be purchased at the Visitor Center on the day of your ride.
The train ride duration is approximately six minutes and it goes about 4 mph.
